Articles of Incorporation
The Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Maine Secretary of State in 2007 by Bruce Lily of Maine Mountain Homes, the original developer of the Peaks Village community. This document does not get updated.
Restricted Covenants
The Peaks Village Homeowners' Restricted Covenants were originally filed with the Oxford County Registrars office in 2007 and subsequently amended and filed in 2008. This is the current version of the document. The HOA will from time to time approve motions to amend and update the Covenants, 2/3 Homeowner approval is required to amend the Covenants.
By-Laws
The Peaks Village Homeowners' Association By-Laws were originally filed with the Oxford County Registrars office in 2007 and subsequently amended and filed in 2008. This is the current version of the document. The HOA will from time to time approve motions to amend and update the By-Laws. A majority Homeowner approval is required to amend the By-Laws.
Approved Motions
These are Motions that the HOA has approved by the required votes. Approved motions will be incorporated into the next update of the associated document.
HOA Rules and
Regulations
This is anticipated to be developed in late 2024. HOA Rules and Regulations are items such as Parking regulations or Noise ordinances that are approved by a majority of HOA Homeowners but are not get incorporated into the By-Laws.
Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs)
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documented processes approved by the Board to share information on how activities/tasks. The goal is to shorten learning time for future board members, provide transparent visibility to Homeowners and assist in seamless management of the HOA.
